Sarah Szekeresh is Co-Chair of SEGD's San Francisco Chapter. Sarah is a designer with a passion for problem solving and collaboration. She specializes in environmental graphics, wayfinding and placemaking, with a focus on corporate and civic spaces. She creates thoughtful, responsive solutions that improve the way a user interacts with his or her environment.
Sarah Szekeresh joined Gensler in 2013, and currently works in the brand design studio. Her design experience includes identity and branding design, environmental graphics, signage and wayfinding programs, donor recognition, exhibition and event design, strategic analysis and positioning. At Gensler, Sarah works alongside architects, interior designers, UX/UI designers and strategists in a multi-disciplinary approach that produces thoughtful, integrated solutions for her clients. Over the course of her eight-year career, she has worked with many incredible companies, including the San Francisco Airport, Alaska Airlines, Related Companies, Ericsson, Strava, City of San Francisco, City of Sacramento, InShape Health Clubs and Sutter Health, among others.
Before joining Gensler, Sarah Szekeresh worked for Kate Keating Associates and completed design internships at Infinite Scale Design Group and Hunt Design through the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) program. She has also worked as a consultant at WD Partners, Thrive LLC and CNN, Inc.
