Sarah Reitz
Sarah Reitz is a UX Designer at Amazon.
Sarah Reitz is also pursing a Master of Design at the University of Washington with emphasis in visual communication design, service design, and data visualization. She also earned a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcasting Production at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has worn many hats in the communication world, having worked on projects as a designer, videographer, editor, animator, and writer. As a visual storyteller, she thinks strategically to connect an audience to an idea--to create designs that clarify and intrigue. Focusing on brand communication and non-profit messaging, my work has helped organizations in Nebraska, Minnesota, and Alaska.
Sarah Reitz was previously associate director of brand communications for the Nebraska Alumni Associate. During that time, she was charged with redeveloping our visual identity system. This meant designing a wordmark as a secondary logo and refreshing the typographic system, color palette, and brand standards. After redefining the NAA’s brand identity came an overhaul of the visual identity system and collateral print material.
Sarah Reitz was also a media intern for the Meadowlark Music Festival and press intern for U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel.
