Coen Shabaka Design is a multidisciplinary design firm, specializing in design for museums, visitor experiences, retail, health + wellness, corporate branded environments, events, galleries + art experiences.

Before starting Coen Shabaka Design with Nadia Coen, Sara worked for the office of Katie Osborn as an environmental design consultant, the Gilmore group as a design director, the Brooklyn Children's Museum as an exhibit graphic designer, Desgrippes Grobe as an environmental graphic designer, Interbrand as a senior graphic designer, Furneaux Stewart as a senior designer and Harvey Nichols as a window designer.

Sara Shabaka graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Master of Art (MA) in Graphic Design and Art Direction.
