Sara Cantor Aye is a co-founder of Greater Good Studio, a Chicago firm that uses design methods to solve social problems. At Greater Good Studio, Sara leads a team of designers and researchers working on issues from early literacy to clean water to tenants' rights. She has 10 years of experience designing new research methods, synthesizing compelling insights, and framing strategic opportunities.
Sara lectures on social design regularly at the Kellogg School of Management and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She and her co-founder won the TED City2.0 Prize in 2012 for their innovative work engaging citizens in the design of a new transit app. Previously, Sara has taught at Northwestern University, IIT, School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Lake Forest College, as well as directed research at IA Collaborative.
Sara Cantor Aye has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Masters in Design Planning from the Institute of Design at IIT.
