San Francisco Neon

Thursday, June 11, 2015 - 5:30pm to 8:00pm

SEGD SF is pleased to welcome Randall Homan and Al Barna, authors of San Francisco Neon: Survivors and Lost Icons for a Design Week presentation focused on the appeal and increasing appreciation of neon. Their recently published book sheds new light on the backdrop and the history of the city’s neon signs, the luminous beacons that help tell the story of the town’s neighborhoods, its nightlife and its fun-loving nature.

This event will be held at the Herman Miller showroom, which has an amazing view of the neon Palace Hotel roof sign. Thank you to Herman Miller for generously opening their space for SF Design Week.

This event is sure to sell out, so register early.
