2016 SEGD Annual Conference: Seattle Chair and Project Director at Creo Industrial Arts
Russ Roberts is a co-founder of CRĒO Industrial Arts establishing the company in Seattle, Washington 30 years ago. From fabrication to design and project management, Russ has participated in all facets of the signage industry for over 39 years.
Russ Roberts currently oversees major projects for CREO’s clients throughout the United States and around the Globe; projects that have been featured in many national publications and have received numerous awards. Russ Roberts has been a seminar speaker at four national conferences of the Society of Experiential Graphic Design on the subject of metal fabrication and has conducted seminars on best practices in construction documentation. Recently completed projects under his direction include City Creek in Salt Lake City, UT; Slotzilla at The Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, NV; Winnipeg Sports Hospitality and Entertainment District in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA; and University Town Center in Sarasota, Florida.
Currently Russ Roberts is working with Gensler Architects on the Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, and is also directing CRĒO’s work for Disneyland Shanghai.
Russ Roberts received his B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and formerly worked at Design/2 of Newport Beach, California.
Outside of work, Russ enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and fly fishing.
