Ron White
Ron White is a senior environmental graphic designer with EYP.
Ron has 20+ years of experience on a wide array of environmental graphic design project types which under-girds a rich understanding of the place-making and wayfinding needs of his clients. From concept and programming, to design detailing and budgeting, through fabrication and implementation – he seeks creative fully-integrated design solutions that blur the lines between design disciplines.
While innovation is key, Ron White values open communication and collaboration, and he promotes a compassionate and empathetic approach to design solutions that ultimately holds owner and end-user interests in the highest regard.
“For me design has a higher purpose than simply the pursuit of ‘cool’. Don’t get me wrong, I love fun innovative ideas. But I believe we should always be asking ourselves how well our ideas are serving people. Do they clearly orient, direct, inform, and educate? Do they authentically inspire, surprise, delight, and reassure? I’m continually in search of honest approaches that truly elevate everyday experiences.”
Ron White leads an award-winning design studio, based in Atlanta, Georgia, of exceptionally talented environmental graphic designers with backgrounds in graphic design, illustration, industrial design, signage fabrication, and interior design. The studio’s services include wayfinding, experience design, and placemaking for a variety of project types from stadiums, to restaurants, children’s hospitals, college campuses, and many more. Notable projects include the wayfinding program for the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, campus gateways and wayfinding program for the Georgia Institute of Technology, creation of the Georgia Aquarium visitors map, and the SEGD award-winning experience design for Palmetto Children’s Hospital.
