Riccardo Bobisse
Riccardo Bobisse is an Associate at Steer Davies Gleave, a consultancy that combines commercial, economic, technical and planning expertise to find powerful answers to our clients’ complex challenges.
Riccardo Bobisse is an urbanist with a multidisciplinary background and over 12 years’ of experience in urban design in both the public and private sectors. He is a practitioner in Urban Design (UDG) and Design Council/CABE Built Environment Expert (BEE).
Riccardo Bobisse is also an associate at AR Urbanism where he project manages urban design schemes, provides urban design advice to private consultancies, and public organisations. Prior to this he was a Senior Urban Designer at PLP architecture. There, he was in charge of masterplanning for the Old Oak Park development in West London.
At JMP Consultants Ltd, he helped to set up the urban design team and provided design advice to transport infrastructure-led schemes. His role was also to raise the company profile, and to establish a network of partners (architects, landscape architects, lighting designers, and other niche specialists).
Riccardo applies a rigorously contextual approach to urban design, which explores the role of culture and community participation in placemaking and he has developed a clear understanding of the practical implications of design choices and the potential for integrating good urban design and innovative infrastructural solutions.
