Renée Ludlam is an Environmental Graphic Designer who also specializes in Experience design, Strategy, and Fine Art. From discovery and research to collaborative development of comprehensive design experiences, Renée delivers complete solutions that generate results. She believes in exceeding expectations, building long-lasting client relationships, and achieving a triple bottom line. Renée Ludlam aspires to help lead the ever-changing design industry as well as continue to teach design at the university level, inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers. Fine art is and always will be a prominent part of her life. She has been a Represented Artist at three different art galleries since 2009 including; Gallery Two Ten in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and both of Grand Bohemian Galleries location, in Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina.
Ludlam received her BFA at Creighton University in Graphic Design. During this time she also interned with Big Fish Marketing, and was a Promotions Assistant for the Fine and Preforming Arts department at Creighton University. In the time between her BFA and MFA programs, Renée was hired as a Creative Director by Kirkland Photography & Design as well as a volunteer artist, designer, and image editor on artist C.H. Rockey’s book, Love Songs of Middletimes.
In 2009 Renée Ludlam began to pursue her Master’s Degree in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). During this time she founded and was the President of SCAD’s Graduate Graphic Design Club, Glyph. She was also hired by SCAD to be a Supplemental Instructor, Peer Tutor, and Teaching Assistant for the Typography II class. Renée’s focus for her completed thesis was on Adaptive Design for Visual Communicators.
After finalizing her Master’s Degree Ludlam was hired as a Conceptual / Contractual Designer at Advent. In this position she was “Designing experiences that move people.” Ludlam collaborated with clients as well as creative and project management teams to generate, and follow through production and installation, original 3D environmental and graphic design solutions. Engaged in all phases of design: research, ideation, conceptualization, master-planning, 3D modeling, marker rendering, graphic design, and production design. She has continued contractual work since leaving the firm in late 2013. In 2015 Renée returned to SCAD as a Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design where she taught undergraduate graphic design courses.
Renée Ludlam’s most recent career achievements include being the owner of her personal business, Malloy Lundlam, for 15 years, as well as working as a Senior Experience Designer with Jack Porter, Inc. for the last two years. Renée’s personal business collaborates with clients to develop successful design solutions and experiences. They also exhibit, receive commissions for, and sell original, multimedia and digital fine artwork.
