He helps to review technical drawings to ensure compliance with the design solution. Raman Mustafa prepares schematic design and design development documents.
Raman Mustafa leads and participates in a collaborative, open team environment. He contributes to and enhance the design spirit of the studio while providing practice leadership by engaging in mentoring and professional guidance to junior staff members.
Raman Mustafa also works concurrently at UCLA's AUD and RomeLAB: spearheaded by the Classics Department under Christopher Johanson. At RomeLAB Raman was part of an interdisciplinary collaboration between different departments to create the Digital Humanities Lab. The scope of the project was to recreate and document different eras of civilizations around the world through procedural modeling, and integrating into an interactive first-person game-world to simulate a live environment. Essentially, virtual time travel and creating a proof of concept that will be used for future educational and commercial purposes, as well as an exciting alternative to current methods of academic presentations.
