Rachel Fujita is a designer and educator working within the realms of Experiential Design. She has been blending varying forms of storytelling, design strategies, interactive technologies, UI and UX methodologies for over a decade. As an educator of seven years, Rachel Fujita has recently developed an Experiential Graphic Design curriculum while working as an Assistant Professor at University of Idaho’s College of Art & Architecture, and was responsible for creating the Experiential Graphic Design Core Competencies for SEGD in Summer 2015, based on curriculum development, student work and academic research towards Experiential Graphic Design while at the University of Idaho. Her work has been exhibited nationally in both inivitational and juried exhibitions, and has presented her Experiential Design curriculum + reserach at several conferences including the 2015 IxDA Education Summit, 2014 SEGD Academic Summit, and the 2013 SLSA Annual Conference. She is an active member of AIGA, SEGD, as well as the National Association of Professional Women.
Rachel is currently an adjunct faculty at Art Center in Pasadena, CA where she teaches Typography II. She is also a Experiential Design Strategy Consultant working out of Los Angeles, CA.
