Pinecrest to Welcome Visitors with Large Daktronics LED Display

Daktronics has partnered with Pinecrest to manufacture and install a 1,008-square-foot LED video display at the new, highly-anticipated mixed-use district opening in Cleveland's suburb of Orange Village, Ohio. The display will be installed this spring and ready to welcome visitors to the new retail development as tenants start to open this May. The vibrant new east side destination will feature high-caliber and sought-after apparel, home and specialty stores—many of which are first-to-market.

"A state-of-the-art screen of this magnitude will become an instant showpiece in Pinecrest's Central Park entertainment district," said Eric Louttit, chief investment officer, Fairmount Properties. "It's a dramatic canvas with exceptional capabilities for outdoor movie screenings, live concert feeds, digital art, unique brand exposure and so much more."

Measuring 24 feet high by 42 feet wide, the massive display will project images and video promoting tenants, events and advertisements to the millions of people who will visit Pinecrest each year. The display will feature 10-millimeter line spacing for crisp, clear imagery while incorporating Daktronics industry-leading environmental protection to ensure the display is fully operational through Ohio's varying weather conditions.

"This is a great project to showcase Daktronics technology in retail developments," said Kyle Milleman, Daktronics sales representative. "We're happy to be working with Pinecrest to bring this sizeable installation to their development as it will create an awe-inspiring experience that visitors aren't able to receive at other locations. It will be exciting to see the final installation serving our customer's needs in the coming months."
