Pia Sachleben is a senior graphic designer in Gensler Chicago’s brand studio. She has 12 years of experience working within the built environment alongside strategists, interior designers, and architects, enhancing user experiences through the design of curated brand moments and strategic wayfinding systems. Her projects span market sectors, including healthcare, convention centers, sports & entertainment venues, hospitality, mixed-use developments, retail, and urban sign systems. Pia brings to Gensler a deep understanding of experience mapping, user navigation, fabrication methods, and overall project efficiencies. Skillful in collaboration and an overall team player, she leads project teams from concept to execution and uses her experience to mentor junior staff in best design practices.
Prior to joining Gensler Chicago in 2014, Pia worked in New York City for Catt Lyon Design, SBLM Architects, Purepartner, and Spacesmith. She received her BFA Degree in Graphic Design from The College of New Jersey.
