Peter Hyde Design turns your vision into design reality. Peter Hyde Design is led by Peter Hyde, a designer with 20 years of experience in the professional design field.  Peter brings his combination of strong design, management, client relations and technical talents to create impactful projects.

Peter has a diverse background across multiple disciplines, venues and geography with projects throughout the United States and internationally in Norway, England, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia. Peter’s current and past clients include professional sports organizations, children’s museums, historical museums and societies, science centers, visitor centers, broadcast networks and Fortune 500 companies. The projects he has designed incorporate a wide variety of content for permanent installations and traveling exhibits that include historic, children’s, science, natural history, cultural, fine art, theater, business, and brand promotion.

After spending his career working at top design studios, Peter Hyde achieved his long term goal of founding Peter Hyde Design to bring high quality design and interpretive services to his clients. Realizing that many design firms do not have a business model capable of individually adjusting to each client’s needs, Peter Hyde Design is structured differently. Instead Peter Hyde Design utilizes a flexible business and studio model that is able to provide services ranging from clients with smaller size, low budget and fast paced projects to very large, high budget multi-year projects with equal creativity, high design standards and successful outcomes.

We provide a professional and thoughtful approach to projects while continually searching for innovative ways to meet our client’s needs. Our expertise and experience includes all aspects of design, fabrication, graphic production, kinetic and digital interactives, interior design, media production, audio-visual design and site installation. 

Peter Hyde Design provides full services for Master Planning, Concept Designs and full turnkey projects.  We tailor the design to the specific communication goals, educational goals, content and budget for each project. Peter Hyde Design has a large number of senior design and museum services contractors we bring in on a job by job basis. Our ability to collaborate closely with clients and content specialists coupled with our varied project experience, creates visually exciting, educational and rewarding experiences for our clients’ target audiences.
