Peter Dixon Named Prophet CCO

Peter Dixon, new CCO of Prophet

Peter Dixon has been named Chief Creative Officer for New York-based brand and marketing consultancy Prophet. Andres Nicholls is the firm's new Global Executive Creative Director.

The new senior leadership positions are designed to drive the evolution of design and creative services at the firm and enhance its multi-disciplinary approach to client work. Since its inception in 2008, Prophet has achieved significant growth in both the size of the practice and the impact it creates in the marketplace for its clients.

As the firm’s Chief Creative Officer, Peter Dixon will be responsible for driving the creativity and culture of the firm and supporting the continued development of its multidisciplinary offerings. Andres Nicholls will lead the design practice, elevating design strategy and thinking for Prophet clients and internal teams.

“We’ve built what we think is a next-generation consulting firm, and have found that being more intentional about putting creativity at the center of what we do leads to greater impact for our clients,” says Dixon, a former SEGD board member and past president. “We continue to be committed to having a business-centric focus to our work and rigorous analytic processes, but we will also elevate the role of creative problem-solving approaches in finding innovative and impactful ideas that can power our clients’ successes.”

Prophet’s design practice is working with some of the most visible brands in the world from its global studios in New York, London, San Francisco, and Hong Kong. The company is increasingly focused on delivering cutting-edge digital and customer experience transformations. Prophet’s design portfolio includes work for Abbott, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Chanel, Destination Hotels, Electrolux, Keurig, Maserati, Qdoba, and Victoria’s Secret.

“We’re making these adjustments to ensure we draw on the entire set of capabilities we’ve built over the past few years to serve our clients in a full service, multi-disciplinary way,” said Michael Dunn, chairman and CEO of Prophet. “These are new roles for us, and we’re excited to have Peter and Andres help set the direction of our approach to creativity and design capabilities as part of our continued growth as a firm.”
