Pamela Steiner has been with Perkins+Will for 8 years. Her primary role there is to develop brand strategy & positioning, conduct design research & strategy, create place-making & storytelling narratives, and craft branded environments design solutions, signage & wayfinding strategies.
Pamela Steiner is also involved in research and strategy work such as primary research experiences: street intercepts, one-on-one interviews, survey & questionnaire writing, situational experiments, & direct observation.
She also does primary & secondary research to understand: client history, past & future trends, user needs, site assessments, competitors, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, opportunity spaces, & brand perception. Pamela initiates, develops, organizes, presents, & implements early-stage research & strategy deliverables, and develops & presents final design solutions to broader design teams and clients.
Pamela Steiner manage client relationships for Perkins+Will throughout design process to ensure alignment with client goals & outcomes.
Her projects include: higher-education, K12, corporate headquarters, innovation & incubator centers, consumer financial services, consumer retail environments, new product positioning for architecture markets, urban reuse, green infrastructure, aviation & transportation, civic and museum work.
She completed her MBA in Design Strategy (DMBA) degree at the California College of the Arts and continues her link with education as an Instructor at the Art Institute of Chicago
