The Oculus Walking Tour w. Place + Make!!

Please join us for a very special guided tour of The Oculus! 


Come hear firsthand about the planning and design process of the wayfinding system at one of the city's most iconic venues. The tour will be guided by Place + Make's Anthony Deen and the Port Authorities Derick Hudspith who currently leads the refinement of the system. 

Anthony Deen

Anthony is a creative director at Place + Make, a physical design firm. He is a designer, technologist, and educator with over 25 years of experience in creating and building branded environments, products and experiences. Anthony's work is included in the Smithsonian's National Desing Museum and has won the Cannes Gold Lion, International Design Award, Spark Design Award, AIA Project Award, and multiple SEGD and GOOD Design Awards.

Derick Hudspith 

Derick is a graphic design and communication specialist, noted for his ability to blend strategy and creativity into innovative answers to client challenges. From 2012 to today he has consulted for the World Trade Center, helping them develop their identity, wayfinding, signage, and retail guidelines. 


Following the tour, we will head to a local venue for drinks and continued conversation. The location will be announced that evening so be sure to attend!
