The Indiana State Museum opens a new, thought-provoking exhibit, FIX: Heartbreak and Hope Inside Our Opioid Crisis, which was designed by museum staff with assistance from more than 50 community partners. Luci Creative was hired as a vendor to provide expertise on exhibition design and flow, along with media producer Richard Lewis Media Group.
The objective of the exhibit is to remove the shame and isolation surrounding opioid use disorder, and to show how all of us can affect positive change in this crisis.
“Taboo subjects such as substance use disorders can be difficult to talk about. When we were approached by the Indiana State Museum on this exhibit, we were honored to be a part of such an important exhibit,” said AJ Goehle, CEO & Partner of Luci Creative.
Luci Creative helped the museum establish the aesthetic and determine how bring the conceptual ideas to life. Specifically, the group aided in the content organization and schematic design of the initial layout.
“Luci Creative was a great partner that helped us turn our concept into a compelling exhibit,” said Brian Mancuso, vice president of experience at the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. “They embraced our desire to make a bright, welcoming exhibition, and Luci’s designs were key.”
FIX: Heartbreak and Hope Inside Our Opioid Crisis, opened on February 1, 2020, and will remain open to the public through February 7, 2021.
