Neil Redding is a seasoned creative technologist, business and experience strategist, software architect, and developer with two decades of work across industries, regions, and cultures. He is a proven successful leader, collaborator, manager, and guide and is expert at aligning technical approach with creative ideas and business goals.
Neil studied computer science, philosophy, and logic programming and theory at Gordon College and Harvard University, before starting his career as a software engineer and consultant at companies like Electronic Arts, PF Magic, ADP, Apple Computers, and Oracle. He moved on to work as a senior engineer, then technical director before becoming senior associate and partner at agile business consulting firm Outformations.
He later began consulting on technology and business strategy as well, lending his expertise to Saatchi & Saatchi, Bond Art and Science, TED Conferences, Zaum Interactive, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Nike, Converse, and others. More recently he served as the senior creative technologist at Proximity BBDO, and the senior director of innovation as well as partner at MediaCom.
At Gensler in New York City, Neil Redding is the Creative Technology Director. There, he collaborates with world-class designers and architects to make branded spatial experiences that are deeply interactive, inherently connected, functionally innovative, and resonantly meaningful.
