As Native American Heritage Month draws to a close, we ask “who are the real Native New Yorkers”? At the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, a new permanent exhibition reveals fresh answers. C&G Partners designed the experience as a walk-in graphic novel, especially for school groups, organized as a 400-mile path through New York. 

Acting as lead designers alongside the museum’s own team of curators, historians, collections specialists, AV, and facilities staff, C&G Partners conceived the exhibition like a walk-in graphic novel, constantly in motion. It was designed for all visitors, with a special emphasis on the educational curriculum of local students.
