Nathan Powell is a recent graduate with distinction from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, & Planning GRCD program. Nathan Powell is currently focusing predominantly on Motion Design, but has experience in environmental design and graphic design in general as well.
During his time at the University of Cincinnati, Nathan Powell held three separate co-op positions. In the Fall 2015 semester, Nathan was a print designer for professional sport environmental graphics at Infinite Scale Design Group in Covington, Kentucky. He worked with a small team to create environmental graphics for College Football Playoffs 2016, NHL All-Star 2016, and NHL Stadium series 2016 events. In the Spring of 2017, he participated in a co-op at TiER1 Performance Solutions in Covington, Kentucky. In this position, Nathan participated in nearly every stage of the design process on projects ranging from in-house videos to large-scale client presentations. He worked with the team as needed to design for the TiER1 Brand as well as presentation graphics for clients in the Cincinnati area and beyond. In both Summer 2016 and Fall 2017, Nathan worked with the Rockwell Group in New York City as an animator/print designer. He worked directly with several different in-house studios on both external and internal projects, including motion graphics and book layouts. Nathan collaborated with company CEO David Rockwell on animation for his own public speaking appearances. He also edited and recorded film for new PR purposes and created animations for luxury products.
