Min Wang is the Dean of School of Design at China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) since 2003. The Academy is one of the most prestigious and influential art school in China. Min has been appointed by Ministry of Education as Chang Jiang Scholars Professor and he is member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) and President of AGI China Chapter. Min is a Detao Design Master.

Min Wang was the Design Director for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Committee from 2006 to 2008, responsible for the design of the Look of the Games. He has been also the Director of Art Research Center for Olympic Games at CAFA since 2004, under his leadership the center has created the medal, the pictogram, the color system, the image and identity guidelines etc. for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Min has been elected as Vice President (07-09) of ICOGRADA (the International Council of Graphic Design Associations, the world body for professional communication design), he was the key person for organizing the ICOGRADA World Design Congress 2009 in Beijing.

Min Wang has been the Design Director at Square Two Design. Min joined SQ2 in 1998 after serving 8 years as Design Manager, Senior Art Director, Designer at Adobe Systems. Min received MFA from Yale University School of Art in 1988 and he has been a visiting fellow in Germany at UdK, Berlin. In 1989, he began lecturing in graphic design at Yale University School of Art, teaching graduate students until 1997. Min was appointed Chair Prof. at School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013, He is visiting professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, China National Academy of Arts, Shanghai Institute of Visual Art.

Min Wang’s work has been exhibited internationally and in the collection of Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg; Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. Square Two Design clients include: Adobe, IBM, Intel, Netscape, Stanford University, BOCOG.
