Michael Courtney Design (Seattle) has worked with The Everett Clinic since 2005, implementing brand alignment strategies and designing marketing and communication tools. The firm recently completed work on the 14th and newest Everett Clinic in Smokey Point.
The client team requested the greeting be visible day and night, through fog, rain, and snow, even as patients exited the freeway. The design team used the broad canopy above the main entrance, placing “The Everett Clinic” above the canopy and the color bar and clinic location below, all without modifications to the wordmark. To make the letters more readable, they used a classic typographic technique, creating a white outline for the blue letters to help the wordmark stand out against the background.
