Merje (West Chester, Pa.) has been selected to develop the Downtown Austin, Texas, Wayfinding Master Plan. MERJE is leading a multi-disciplined team that will design a comprehensive wayfinding strategy for the city, including technology applications, signage, printed support materials, maps, and urban gateways.
MERJE has also been commissioned recently to develop community wayfinding systems for Spearfish, S.D., and Ocala, Fla.; as well as a regional program for Northwest Arkansas. This project is an expansion of the firm’s wayfinding program for Bentonville, Ark., which was installed in November 2011 in time for the opening of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
The firm is also developing sign standards for the Allentown, Pa., parks system, interior signage for two Delaware technology campuses, and the identity and graphics program for the new Downtown Miami Trolley, including vehicle graphics, map design, and trolley-stop signage.
