Sydney Patterson

Sydney Patterson is a Senior Designer at RSM Design, a multidisciplinary design studio that creates award-winning graphic connections with architecture. RSM Design has collaborated with some of the world’s most noted architects, developers, and institutions to seamlessly combine branding, wayfinding, art, and graphics into the built environment.

As a Senior Designer at the RSM San Clemente studio, Sydney helps design and lead many of RSM design’s projects, including mixed-use, retail, biotech campuses, and unique project types such as resorts, entertainment venues and parks. From the initial vision through implementation, Sydney utilizes principle-centered design in each step of the design process. Her focus is to help people identify with their environment so they can build lasting connections.

As an Orange County native, Sydney understands the impact of Southern California culture across a multitude of environments. At RSM, she is challenged to bring out the unique character of a place, and in combination with her Southern California roots, she can deliver authentic experiences and solutions that make people enjoy, stay longer, and return often.

Sydney is a co-chair of the SEGD Orange County chapter and an active member of the Society of Experiential Graphic Design. She earned a B.A. in Design with honors, focusing on exhibition and graphic design, from the University of California, Davis.
