Regina Czerr is a co-chair for the Charlotte Chapter.
Regina Czerr oversees the Wayfinding and Signage Program for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in Charlotte, North Carolina. CLT is one of the fastest growing airports in the world, ranking 9th in passenger traffic and 5th in operations nationally. As part of the Aviation Development team, Regina is responsible for the planning, visual communication strategy, design, and implementation of wayfinding and signage throughout the airport property.
Regina Czerr has experience working on multi-disciplinary teams for a wide range of client and project types. Her expertise includes creating visioning and placemaking strategies for land development projects, branding and identity systems, graphic communications, signage, and environmental graphics.
Previously, Regina Czerr was the Creative Director at LandDesign, an award-winning urban design firm with a mission to create places that matter. During her 13 years with the firm, Regina brought design intelligence and a holistic approach to problem-solving that added depth and meaning to the stories she crafted for clients.
Driven by her love of art and culture, Regina Czerr seeks to harness the power of the arts and design to transform spaces, inspire positive investment, and increase the quality of life in the public realm. Currently, Regina is working closely with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Arts and Science Council to support the strategic integration of art, wayfinding, and other visual elements in the airport to create a celebrated passenger experience.
Regina Czerr earned a Bachelor of Industrial Design from North Carolina State University, School of Design in Raleigh, North Carolina.
