Designing wayfinding, experience, information and interpretive solutions for business and government.
Mike Heine is a designer specialising in wayfinding design, experience design, information design and interpretive design. These disciplines combine my graphic design and communication background with his interest in architecture, industrial design, maps, human behaviour and story telling.
With over 25 years of professional experience in the design industry Mike Heine has worked across packaging, publishing, corporate identity, brand and signage design disciplines. He loves a project which is challenging, technical, and complex – and involves a high level of problem solving, innovation and creativity.
As a co-founder of HeineJones, Mike Heine is privileged to work with the terrific HeineJones team from their office in Collins Street, Melbourne, Australia.
HeineJones specialise in experiential graphic design – wayfinding, information design, experience design, interpretive design and digital technologies. They develop highly effective design solutions that connect people to place, empower an understanding of place (or product), orient and direct, create positive engagements, and facilitate a compelling experience.
They tackle our work with rigour, creativity, strategic thinking, an attention to detail, and a focus on communication. They’ve won national and international design awards for our work, their projects have been published internationally, and I am proud of what our team produce.
