Karen Polesky

Karen Polesky is currently enrolled in the Museum Studies Masters Program at Johns Hopkins University. Karen is a creative leader and hands-on designer with extensive experience delivering signature design projects at signature cultural destinations. She is an expert with legacy and emerging design, project management and creative toolsets.
Karen Polesky worked as the lead graphic designer on the following PRD Group museum exhibit projects: Projects include the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum permanent exhibit; Washington & Lee University, Lee Chapel Museum, and Washington Hall; East Tennessee Historical Society, “Voices of the Land: The People of East Tennessee”, Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibits (SITES), “The Working White House: 200 Years of Tradition and Service”; Jamestown Settlement, “The World of 1607”; Smithsonian National Postal Museum, “Postal Inspectors: The Silent Service”; Yorktown Victory Center, “Declaration of Independence,” and “Legacy of Yorktown: Virginia Beckons” galleries; Virginia Historical Society, “American Visions of Liberty & Freedom” and “Jamestown, Quebec, Santa Fe: Three North American Beginnings” traveling exhibits; United States Botanic Gardens, “Celebrating America’s Public Gardens: Green Today, Growing Tomorrows”; Mount Auburn Cemetery Visitors Center; Maryland Historical Society, “Looking for Liberty: An Overview of Maryland’s History”
