Darrin Hunter is the Founder of Dish Design in Cincinnati.
With over 20 years of experience as an architect, photographer and environmental graphic designer, Darrin Hunter provides design consultancy for Dyer Brown’s clients that includes branding, identity design, experiential and environmental graphic design, digital and wayfinding design, typography, video and photography.
Darrin Hunter began his own design consultancy, Dish Design, after 5 years as a graphic design professor at the University of Cincinnati, and is now a thought leader and a regular speaker at regional and national design conferences. His ability to bridge the disciplines of architecture and visual communications helps Dyer Brown to better align our clients’ facilities with their brand values in cohesive and exciting ways. Darrin is also an enthusiastic volunteer leader and a frequent regional and national presenter through numerous professional organizations.
A little fact about Darrin Hunter is that he’s somewhat of a pool shark! As a certified instructor for the Billiards Congress of America’s Professional Billiards Instructors Association program, Darrin was a competitive player for the University of Cincinnati. He is still the only player from UC to ever qualify for the National Collegiate Billiards Championships, and finished in the top 16 players in the country in 2008. He has been the coach for UC’s Billiards team ever since and continues to give private lessons in the Cincinnati area.
