Dan Meeker

Daniel Meeker, SEGD, is the director of operations for HOK’s Experience Design group and is based in Chicago.
As director of operations, Daniel Meeker works closely with clients to ensure projects stay within deadlines and budgets. He serves as a mentor and coach for teams and individuals within the Experience Design group.
With more than 20 years of experience, Daniel Meeker also specializes in developing wayfinding communication programs that deliver essential messaging while providing a meaningful interpretation of identity. He provides project leadership on aesthetics, lighting, electrical issues, budget compliance and structural issues during the design process, ensuring that the graphic elements become integrated components of the built environment.
HOK’s Experience Design group goes beyond developing branded spaces to enhance human experiences. Each step of a person’s contact with a physical space represents an opportunity to convey a message, memory or feeling. THe HOK team strategizes with clients about these messages and creates purposeful, branded experiences within the places where people live, work and play.
Before Joining HOK in 2011, Daniel Meeker worked at Selbert Perkins Design and for him self. IN fact Daniel started working with HOK in 1998, left for a few years and is back again!
Dan earned his degree from DePaul University.
