The global integrator McCann Systems recently received two of the industry’s prestigious Commercial Integrator Integration Awards, presented at InfoComm, the largest professional audiovisual trade show in North America.
The 2016 Integration Awards recognize top commercial integrators who successfully address client needs with innovative and noteworthy installations. This year, two of those awards went to McCann Systems.
The Best Healthcare Project was earned for the work McCann Systems did for Mercy Virtual Care Center, the world’s first free-standing facility for telemedicine, located in St. Louis, Mo., while the CI Best Casino Project was awarded to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’s Race and Sports Book powered by CG Technology.
Both award-winning projects were designed by Ken Newbury, senior vice president of operations at McCann Systems, and managed locally by his teams. “It is always fun when you get to be involved in the design of such creative and inspired projects. These are the times that you get to stretch beyond the day-to-day audiovisual concepts and really invent something head-turning. I was honored to have great team members – both internal and external – on both of these projects who shared the same level of desire to produce something completely unique.”
