Masterwork Plaques is a studio focused on the creation of custom plaques and specialty metal signage. Founded by a team of sculptors and public artists, we are skilled collaborators, working with designers and architects on creative problem solving for wayfinding, branding and interpretive projects.  Our studio’s mastery of traditional metal techniques allows us to develop new and dynamic ways to incorporate metal signage into contemporary installations that are long-lasting and visually unique.

Bronze Bas-Relief >  This long-established hand carving technique, traditionally associated with old-world portraiture, can be used to create interactive tactile surfaces, topographical textures and illustrative elements for educational exhibits and interpretive installations.

Architectural Medallions > Our ADA compliant, inset cast bronze plaques have exceptional durability underfoot in both high-traffic entryways and pathways making them a perfect option for corporate lobbies, city sidewalks and institutional campuses.  These medallions can be created at large and small scales, with strategic designs that are both visually pleasing and slip-resistant.

Cut Metal Lettering and Logos > From aged corten steel to polished brass, our studio produces both prismatic and smooth-faced letters for building signage and address markers.

Etched and Cast Signage >  Our workshop creates long-lasting metal signage using cast and etched metal techniques, giving our customers a wide range of materials, sizes and finishing options for their custom project.
