Mary Franck is a Senior Designer at ESI Design in New York. With a passion for combining spatial design with content to create experiences, in both virtual and physical spaces, Mary Franck is an accomplish creative technologist and experiential designer. Franck utilizes her skills and experiences to converge on subjects such as real-time content and immersive experiences.
Previous to working at ESI Design, Mary Franck has eight years of experience in both technical and creative roles. These include Consultant Design Director with IBM, Lead Creative Technologist with Fake Love, Freelance Creative Technologist and Digital Artist, and Senior Interactive Art Engineer with Obscura Digital. Franck's education is a culmination of a B.A. in Fine and Studio Arts from San Francisco State University, and an M.A. in Architectural Design Research from Southern California Institute of Architecture.
These positions and experiences allowed Mary Franck to develop and acquire specialized skills such as art direction, programming, data visualization, user experience, and real-time graphics. Franck also specializes in a range of different programs including CAD/CAM, Adobe Creative Suite, TouchDesigner, Python, Cinema 4D, and Unity.
As a leader in her field, Mary Franck has taught at Stanford University and has directed workshops at conferences such as Gray Area Festival, INST-INT, DaVinci Creative Festival in Seoul, and FITC.
