"We're reinventing the designer's role with new skills, tools and techniques to keep projects—and brands—fresh and interesting."

As a veteran of experiential graphic design, Marty highly values—and has built—an engaging studio environment where accomplished professionals are empowered to get excited, grow their talents and work together. He also guides ArtHouse and its clients through a clear and mindful design process that has consistently proven to be effective over the years. From sketches on paper to scale models to full-size installations, he plays a chief role in evolving ideas into results that achieve clients' goals. Marty places great value on listening and collaborating to help project teams visualize—and realize—possibilities. With a deft drawing hand and sharp mind, as well as business acumen,

Marty has earned serious clout among design circles—in Denver and across the country. A strong supporter of education and professional development, Marty often hosts local and national student groups and professional organizations at the studio, and he travels throughout the country to give presentations on a variety of topics and trends in design.

Marty has won multiple distinctions for his design talents from ADCD Design Awards, HOW International Design Awards, Graphis, Downtown Denver Awards, ASLA Design Awards and more. Marty earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Colorado State University (CSU) and is an advisory board member of CSU's design department. Little bits of paper, stickers and ephemera that would have otherwise been lost, have a home in the journal.

Arthouse Design, Denver

I have been keeping journals since college and found it to be a perfect vault for my ideas and record of inspirations. I’m always surprised by how well the journal process (when reviewed at a later time) takes me back to exactly what I was thinking and what I was inspired by. Little bits of paper, stickers and ephemera that would have otherwise been lost, have a home in the journal.
