I was born and raised in Colorado and has never found a reason to leave. As a youth I found myself collecting business cards everywhere I went. They were free for one but I enjoyed coming across new and unique applications that people have designed. I naturally took to art of all kinds as well as sports.

As an adult I spent 2 years at UNC in Greeley and transferred to Metropolitan State Univ to complete my education with a BA in Communication Design and minor in painting. In my 20's as a single father of my 1 year old son, I found Boyd Sign Systems in Englewood, CO. The signage industry was a perfect fit for my passions of design, typography, three-dimensional art, sculpture and art history. I spent years in the design department gaining industry knowledge of signage and building codes as well as how my well my emphasis melded with the communication aspects of wayfinding and signage in general. I eventually transitioned into project management and then into sales as an account executive, the position that I hold today. Over the past 13 years I have been heavily involved with digital signage companies and help art direct my team of designers & engineers to produce unique solutions for custom kiosks, enclosures, video wall surrounds and many other unique digital application housings. I also guide my clients various signage needs down the right path whether it is regarding high aesthetic needs or strict signage code compliance. In 2020 I celebrated my 16th year with Boyd Sign Systems and enjoy being a part of the ever changing and evolving signage industry as a whole and a fantastic employer that treats the staff as family.
