Lumière, now more than ever, is poised to celebrate and ‘shine a light’ on Vancouver’s natural beauty, history, diversity, and local artists to bring people and communities together through light and art. The festival will include light-based projections, dynamic performances and interactive workshops in order to create a series of interconnected, vibrant public spaces that encourage people to freely explore the city, be engaged, connected and inspired. Join SEGD Vancouver as we explore the opening night festivities at Vancouver Art Gallery and discuss the importance of gathering spaces. Hot beverages will be provided to keep us warm as we tour the outdoor dream beacons and performances. Afterwards please join us for a complimentary drink and nibbles at a nearby restaurant.
