Luis Aparicio is a designer, artist, illustrator and urban sketcher with over 20 years of experience in the built environment.
His detailed design work is enhanced by his expert rendering capabilities, both computer generated as well as with traditional media such as watercolors, markers, graphite and ink.
Luis Aparicio had worked for several architecture firms in Puerto Rico, mostly in charge of the design process, building code, life safety and accessibility assessments and the creation of multimedia presentations. His professional experience includes commercial, office, healthcare, institutional, transportation, education and residential projects, both locally and abroad. Since 2013 he has been working as a designer with ex;it in Philadelphia, PA.
Luis received his Master of Architecture and Bachelors in Environmental Design degrees from the University of Puerto Rico. He has over 12 years of teaching experience, serving as an adjunct faculty member for architecture, landscape architecture and industrial design departments at various universities. He has lectured on diverse subjects including hand drawing and rendering, computer representation and design fundamentals.
