As Managing Director of Bluecadet’s New York City office, Lillian Preston brings a passion for discovery and history to her work;an executive producer specializing in large exhibition projects for cultural institutions.

Lillian Preston (Lilly) takes a hands-on approach as a managing director and executive producer, with a focus on compelling storytelling and a passion for large, unconventional exhibitions and installations. When she’s not designing multi-platform media solutions to engage and educate museum visitors, Lillian Preston is educating students of her exhibition design course in the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she also founded the ITP Innovation Lab, a 4-week summer course focused on re-imagining exhibits for museums and public spaces.

Lillian Preston graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Anthropology and a Certificate in American Studies. Her senior thesis focused on history, tradition, and tourism in the pottery community of Seagrove, North Carolina.

Lilly is a creative producer with 14 years of experience specializing in site-specific installations and multi-platform media solutions for cultural institutions and corporations. Interdisciplinary skill set spans concept ideation, content development, art direction, technical oversight, client, budget and large team project management.
