Lauren Smedley is an MFA Candidate in Design at the University of Texas Austin.
Lauren Smedley is currently an MFA candidate at UT Austin with a focus in museum accessibility design and user testing. Along with being a full-time student, Lauren Smedley is also a design fellow at the Design Institute for Health at the Dell Medical School. Prior to UT, she was employed at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia as a designer.
Lauren Smedley had the opportunity to work on the newest science of sports (SportsZone) exhibit, along with many other environmental projects.
Before joining the Franklin Institute Lauren had her own company, worked at Level Design Group, The University of the Arts and the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery
Lauren Earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with honors with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History from the University of the Arts. In addition she studied at the Universiteit of Leiden.
