Lauren Hall was brought up in, and continues to work in Seattle, WA. She first developed an interest in design during a digital 3D modeling class in high school. When not behind a camera, Lauren Hall enjoys using non-digital mediums. She has experience with book binding, letter press, silk screening and etching.
At Microsoft, Lauren Chose location, lit, audio recorded and filmed three days of interviews with students and Microsoft professionals about their experience being involved in the Hololens project. At Framework, she filmed and audio recorded events to get feedback from the Belltown and First Hill and International District communities about expansion to the area. Edited footage together into two short films and created motion graphics. Lauren also filmed, conducted interviews, edited and created motion graphics for a short documentary at Shunpike. And at Cornish College of Arts, Lauren directed, filmed, acted in and edited a short commercial that was played at the NFFTY film festival and is featured on the Cornish website for incoming students.
