Laura Austen is a consultant, specializing in digital signage content strategy at TELUS, a Canadian telecommunications company.
Laura Austen has over 15 years of experience in the digital signage industry. She started her career as a VJ creating digital visual content and mixing it live to music for concerts, festivals and nightclubs. This lead her to a unique opportunity at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas where she directed and managed the video content (a main piece of the decor) for the property's restaurant and night clubs. She then took on a position as the creative director for the CBS Spectacular in Times Square, NYC. As technology advanced and digital signage became more accessible to more markets she moved her focus to digital signage and the fan experience in arenas and stadiums.
She loves everything digital signage and has a passion for putting the right content in the right place at the right time for the right person.
