Kolar Design Sweeps Cincinnati Design Awards

Kolar Design (Cincinnati) swept the EGD category during the 18th annual Cincinnati Design Awards celebration November 14, winning a total of four awards for its work for the Contemporary Arts Center and Cincinnati Children's Hospital.  Sponsored by AIA, ASLA, IIDA, and SEGD, the CDA18 awards were held at the Zaha Hadid-designed Contemporary Arts Center in downtown Cincinnati.

Kolar’s awards included graphics for the Contemporary Arts Center itself, namely anniversary graphics for the CAC’s 75th anniversary. The team’s winning projects were:

  • Contemporary Arts Center (Single Sign, Merit)
  • Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Visitor Garage (Built Work, Honorable Mention)
  • Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Donor Recognition Wall (Built Work, Merit)
  • Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute Clinics (Built Work, Honor)
