Kerri Peyton is a Licensed Interior Designer with the Alberta Association of Architects, and principal of Peyton Licensed Interior Design. Her firm creates branded commercial spaces that helps businesses stand apart from competitors, tell their authentic stories, and build customer loyalty.

Prior to returning to Mount Royal University to obtain her Bachelor of Interior Design, Kerri obtained a degree in Communications Studies from the University of Calgary, and several years work experience in marketing and corporate communications. The combination of her two backgrounds means that she brings a deep understanding of how interior function and aesthetics combine to support a company's internal and public image, operations and culture.

She has also worked for large architectural and interior design firms on interiors for national and international brands, but has found that her passion lies in working with independent entrepreneurs and local community members - acting as a strategic business partner to reduce uncertainty, effectively allocate limited resources and contribute to the overall vision of the business.

Outside of her work activities, Kerri also teaches in the Interior Design studio courses at her alma mater, and is an active community volunteer with professional associations and community groups.
