Kenan Hanhan is a founding partner of ProvisGraphic™ LLC, the US subsidiary of Provis d.o.o., one of the leading wholesale manufacturers of LED-illuminated architectural signage in Europe, from jewel-like 2 inch high precision display lettering designed for retail environments, to 16+ foot tall high-rise lettering that make our cities inspiring places to live.
Kenan has a passion for expanding the possibilities of LED-illuminated architectural signage and experiential place-making for a variety of visual communication platforms, from wayfinding, retail design, to corporate-branded environments.
Together with ProvisGraphic and their R&D partnership with the University of Sarajevo, Kenan’s mission is to improve signage light diffusion quality and consistency, to enable the lowest-profile illuminated signage solutions, and to finally (once and for all) eliminate the need for legacy trim cap on every illuminated sign in North America.
Kenan also enjoys leading culturally-diverse teams of great women and men who offer new perspectives to solving technical challenges. He has led cross-cultural teams in the USA, Brazil, China, Austria, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey in leadership roles based out of North America and in Europe. In recent international expat assignments (based out of Karlsruhe, Germany and Istanbul, Turkey), Kenan has had the great privilege to recruit, develop, and lead cross-cultural teams in Dubai, UAE; Dammam, Saudi Arabia; and Istanbul, Turkey – teams whose contributions have turned customers’ technical challenges into their opportunities.
One of Kenan’s favorite projects was to contribute his very small part to support the truly innovative design work and leadership of the Cardosi Kiper Design Group on the Notre Dame Stadium Crossroads Project.
Outside of his mission at ProvisGraphic, Kenan volunteers for Alight (formerly the American Refugee Committee), a Minneapolis-based relief organization that offers food, infrastructure, and educational support to war-torn, displaced communities around the world.
During his personal time, Kenan enjoys spending time with his family. He is proud to be married to Cris DuBord, a leader at UnitedHealth Group, and has four active teenage sons that keep him very busy, but very happy.
