Kayla Silber is currently the Creative Director at UBM Fashion Group in Los Angeles, California. She has over 15 years of experience working in fast-paced, deadline-oriented and creatively challenging environments. Along with being very knowledgeable in the world of both print and web, Kayla Silber, has solid experience working in a variety of industries ranging from healthcare to fashion. Silber loves working in collaborative environments, she does not get overwhelmed easily, and enjoys the challenge of meeting next-to impossible deadlines. Kayla Silber is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, CSS, HTML, Wordpress, Lightroom, Microsoft Office, salsa dancing, chess playing, and yoga.

Silber received a B.F.A. from University of Maryland College Park in Fine and Studio Arts. Later on she would also study at Parsons School of Design from 2002 to 2003. After graduating in 2003 Kayla went on to a Associate Art Director position at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare. In this position she conceptualized and executed logos, brochures, invitations, posters, direct mail pieces, and web templates for medical education companies including Bristol-Myers Squibb and Glaxo Smith Kline. She continued moving up the Art Direction path by accepting an Art Director position at JUICE Pharma Advertising. As an Art Director she worked closely with team members to develop international brand identity and marketing strategy for Gardasil®, the Merck cervical cancer vaccine launched in 2006, co-directed photoshoot involving girls aged 10 – 24 for use in global brand testing, and used flash to create cohesive branding guidelines for new digital sales aids to replace all printed sales aids at Merck. Silber then became a Senior Art Director at Grey Healthcare Group, in this position she designed concepts and layouts for new business pitches and presented creative to clients, oversaw projects from pre- through post-production, and coordinated with illustrators, photographers and freelancers. Then in 2009 Silber accepted the position as Group Creative Director at UBM Fashion, where she manages the UBM Fashion creative department across LA, NY, and CN.
