See Katie's work with Kanawha Design Studio. Kanawha Design Studio is a versatile Seattle-based, multidisciplinary design firm for any and all interesting and engaging design projects locally and internationally. The name of the firm comes from the Kanawha Valley region in West Virginia. More specifically, it is named after Kanawha Manufacturing Company, a fabrication plant founded by Katie's great-great grandfather in 1902. The company has been in the family since and is now run by her father. While West Virginia is too far from the Pacific Northwest for Katie, she kept the family company name.
