Kamela Janke
Kamela is the founding principal of Teleos (formerly Janke), an Austin-based brand experience design firm. For two decades, she has contributed creatively to the design and development of the multi-disciplinary teams branding, communication design, and experiential graphic design projects, while also managing the operational needs of the firm.
With Kamela’s hands-on expertise in the strategy, planning, and design of complex experiential graphic design and wayfinding programs, she has successfully directed multiple high-profile projects with clients the likes of the Gaylord Resort Hotel, W Hotel Austin, The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, UT Arlington, The University of North Texas, Amtrak, Exxon, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Intel, Hewlett Packard, Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and Fort Worth, Will Rogers Airport, Laredo International and Tampa International Airports.
Kamela received her BA in Design, with a minor in Package Design, from Texas Tech University and has received accolades from American Graphic Design and the Society for Experiential Graphic Design, and her Brand Identity and EGD work has been published in “Print” and “Identity” magazines, as well as the book “This Way: Signage Design for Public Spaces”.
