“Off Grid 18,”the second-annual international experiential graphic design event created by the Wellington Chapter of SEGD, transpired over four days and four cities in late February. The theme was “Experiential City,” which posed the question, “What is the ‘experiential city’ and where does design fit in?”
Justine Lesmana is an experienced designer, currently based in Melbourne and is a former co-chair for the Melbourne Chapter.
Justine Lesmana posses a rare ability to distil complex information and find clarity and creative direction with a keen eye for innovation. A perfectionist at heart, her eye for detail and precision can be seen in her design process across her portfolio that spans from environmental graphics, placemaking, installations to wayfinding signage.
Her time working at some of Australia’s leading design studios across both large and small scale projects, from workplace environments, infrastructure and transport, precinct developments, healthcare, hotel and universities has led to her work being published in a number of publications and magazines. And in recent years, have won awards both internationally and locally including; SEGD Design Awards, AGDA Design Awards, Sydney & Melbourne Design Awards.
Justine Lesmana has a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with sub-majors in Textile Design & Japanese from the University of Technology, Sydney.
