Julian Osorio is a designer, musician and educator. Julian Osorio's background is shaped by the two places he has called home, Colombia and the U.S., as well as his dual passions, designing graphics and composing music. In his day-to-day, Julian Osorio works with people, graphics, and wayfinding to create unforgettable places and inspiring environments. Julian Osorio is driven by the belief that our experiences are shaped by how we are able to navigate our environment, and how we see ourselves and our cultures reflected in the visual language that surrounds us.
Julian has managed complex branding projects and wayfinding systems, from concept design through implementation, across the U.S. and in Latin America. From large public parks in emerging cities to boutique offices in the heart of downtown, Julian Osori has a passion for translating brands into the built environment. In designing visual systems in the public realm he enjoys both the complexity of built projects, and also considering the project’s visibility and its day-to-day social impacts. Julian is a current instructor at the Boston Architectural College where he teaches architects to communicate ideas with visual storytelling.
