As an experiential graphic designer at Interior Architects, Jules Naujoks helps her clients present their brands throughout their workplaces. She enjoys the wide variety of projects, materials, and formats that EGD offers. With a background in account management and user experience, the ways people interact with her work is always the primary focus. Though the client’s goals always take priority, Jules tries to inspire play and curiosity within all of her work.
Jules earned her graphic design degree from Seattle Central Creative Academy and was awarded a Gold Student Addy for magazine design. It was during this general graphic design program where she discovered EGD and used her capstone project to learn some of the principles of designing for physical space. Without fully realizing what she was getting them into, she talked two classmates into researching, writing, designing, and fabricating a 1300 sq ft interactive museum exhibit about the history of superheroes.
Jules transitioned to design after a successful career developing account management teams for several San Francisco tech startups (and squeezed in a few years as a sound tech too). The depth and variety of this experience is a tremendous asset to Jules’ design thinking. Every concept is created from a UX perspective - ensuring each design solution is focused on meeting the needs of all it’s users (with accessibility and sustainability always top of mind). Jules’ account management experience allows her to get to the heart of each client’s needs and sell her work effectively. Having technical knowledge of audio, lighting, and projection techniques comes in pretty handy too.
In addition to all the impressive work accomplishments Jules has a love for letterpress, pinball, enamel pins, and every dog she has ever met.
